When a hermit observed a fox without legs while gathering wood from the forest to cook supper, he wondered how the animal was still alive and in such good health.
He was so caught up in his thoughts that he failed to notice the sudden pandemonium that spread throughout the area as the lion, the ruler of the forest, approached.
The beggar also swiftly scaled a large tree after sensing danger, where he began to observe everything.

Seeing such a scene once again, the monk said in his mind, perhaps this is the proof of God’s existence! Which is actually happening like this..
He who is born He does, also arranges for his bread. From today onwards, like this fox, I will also live on the mercy of God, God will arrange for my food too.
Thinking like this, he went to a deserted place and sat under a tree. The first day passed but no one came there. On the second day also some people passed by, but no one paid attention to the beggar.
Here, without eating or drinking anything, the beggar was getting weaker every moment.. Like this a few more days passed, now his strength has also gone.
He was not even able to walk. His condition had become just like that of a dead person that only then a Mahatma passed by and reached the beggar.
He told the whole story to Mahatma ji and said, now you tell me how God can be so cruel, isn’t it a sin to put a person in this condition?
Of course, Mahatmaji said, but how can you be so foolish? Why don’t you understand that God wanted you to become like that lion and not like a fox! It happens many times in our life too that we should understand things the way we do. Understand the opposite of that. The result of which is very dangerous..
God has given some such powers inside all of us which can make us great, it is necessary that we recognize them.
In this story, it was the good fortune of the beggar that Mahatmaji was found to make him realize his mistake, but we should also be careful that we are not becoming a fox instead of a lion?
God himself keeps and nurtures human beings and creatures with kind thoughts and behavior, they make their life smooth and dry.
