Here’s how I pick a book: I judge the cover (sorry not sorry) and then I read a few reviews. I like reading a book without knowing what it’s really about.
When I first started this book, I was a little bored. I even found a new one to read instead. Once I finished the other book I came back to this one to finish what I started because my daddy didn’t raise a quitter.
Let’s just say, I’m glad I chose to finish this book. You could see a twist coming but not until it was about to happen and even though I had suspensions on what might happen next, it was still fun reading it to see how it would play out.
I liked the main characters and thought they were each written very well. They had their very own personalities and were believable.
Overall, it was a good read. I was cooking dinner and reading at the same time, if that’s any indication on how much I enjoyed the book
