Reese Witherspoon Reacts to THAT Scene In Netflix’s “Wednesday” Show

She probably had no idea that “Legally Blonde” would be categorised as a horror film.

The fact that her film Legally Blonde was included in the new Wednesday series on Netflix didn’t disturb Reese Witherspoon in the least, which is a testament to her sense of humour.

Being featured in another project would normally be good, but given that this one is about Wednesday Addams and everything, it’s clear that this is not intended as a praise.

She is reacting to a scenario in which Wednesday’s ex-boyfriend, Tyler (played by Hunter Doohan), first inquires about the macabre teen’s opinion of scary movies before assuring her that she will be frightened by his choice of horror movie.

Reese Witherspoon Reacts to THAT Scene In Netflix’s “Wednesday” Show

To Wednesday Addams’ dismay, Legally Blonde (which is streamable with a Hulu subscription) starts to play when Tyler presses the play button on a movie projector. The actress playing Elle Woods immediately starts laughing in the video reaction to the joke made fun of her movie.

In a clip she uploaded to TikTok from the episode, Witherspoon is seen grinning as the action unfolds before breaking into laughter when she hears the first few notes of Huku’s Perfect Day and we finally get a glimpse of what’s on the projector.

Most people think of Wednesday Addams as having a distinctive personality, being drawn to dark and eerie things, and frequently being unconcerned with other people’s feelings.

These characteristics are played up in the Netflix series, and Jenna Ortega’s deadpan humour and line delivery further endear the character. Wednesday makes it clear right away in the first episode that she does not use technology or social media, calling the latter a “soul-sucking wasteland.”

She also exhibits no remorse for any of her mischief, and when questioned about the incident that resulted in her expulsion from Nancy Reagan High School, she vowed to repeat it. In the show, Wednesday also hardly ever smiles and hardly ever blinks, which many viewers found amusing.

With over 50 million households watching it for 341.23 million hours, Wednesday, which made its streaming debut on November 23, has quickly ascended the social ladder. It surpassed Stranger Things, which had previously held the record with 335.01 million hours, as Netflix’s most streamed series in a single week.

The fact that Witherspoon took days to finish a series that viewers watched in a few hours has been overlooked by the streamer. In order to mark the occasion that the Friends alum is now watching the series and has finally reached the penultimate episode, Netflix took to Twitter.

It’s also important to note that after Strange Things’ fifth season, the big business will no longer air it, and one of its key creators, Mike Flanagan (of The curse of the house on the hill Y Midnight fame), has inked an exclusive deal with Amazon Prime. It would be absurd for Netflix not to order a second season of the Addams Family spin-off since the streaming service needs a hit.

Will Wednesday Have Season 2?

It appears that Netflix will most likely be renewed for a second season based on its recent performance Wednesday and how it concludes. The level of fan interaction has been astounding, with many people utilising social media to highlight their favourite moments or reactions to particular characters and scenes, like Reese Witherspoon.

Al Gough and Miles Millar, the show’s creators, have previously discussed their desire to learn more about the world and the connection between Wednesday and Morticia.

After the finale, there are still a lot of unanswered questions, particularly regarding Tyler and Marilyn and the stalker.

According to Millar, a potential story arc was also hinted at, noting that Wednesday is still getting the hang of friendships. Keep an eye out for other news in the area if you’re wondering where the show will go next. Wednesdayfuture.
